Complete surgical excision of a type V-variant dermoid sinus (V/VI overlap) associated with spina bifida in a Shiba Inu dog: A case report

본 사례는 시바견에서 수의학 최초로 제5형(고립된 낭종)과 제6형(경막 부착 섬유 밴드)의 특징이 모두 나타난 '제5/6형 중복 타입의 유피동(Dermoid sinus)'과 흉추부 척추이분증 동반 사례를 보고합니다. CT와 MRI를 포함한 상위 영상 검사와 조직학적 검사를 병행하여 정확한 형태학적 진단을 내렸으며, 뚜렷한 신경학적 마비가 없더라도 조기에 완전한 외과적 절제술을 시행하는 것이 추후 심한 척수 손상을 막고 장기적인 예후를 향상시키는 데 매우 중요함을 시사합니다.
